Voltage

The lock runs on 4 AA batteries. Batteries last up to a year. The battery charge percentage can be viewed through the application. If they are not replaced in time, there is a connection to a USB cable for external power.

Questions and answers

What types of doors can the Elock smart lock be installed on?

Elock Wize Pro locks can be installed on all types of multi-locking doors. These can be fire doors, steel and wooden doors. They can even be installed on glass doors if there is an aluminum profile around the glass. In other words, Elock Wize Pro locks can be installed on any existing door without the need for preliminary preparation.

On what part of the door are Elock locks installed?

A deadbolt lock is installed on the door itself instead of the existing handle and cylinder.

Can Elock locks be moved from door to door or when moving?

Installing the lock does not damage the door, so you can always return the old handle and cylinder and move the lock to another door.

How many fingerprints and codes can be entered into the lock?

In the smart lock “WIZE” you can enter 200 different fingerprints and 150 different codes. 

What happens if there is a problem with the lock?

Sometimes there seems to be a problem with the lock when operations are not performed correctly, so we recommend that you keep the instructions that clearly explain how to perform various operations on the lock. Also of course you can contact our 24/6 customer service department at 050-99-79-800 and get an immediate response to resolve the issue, most issues are resolved over the phone. In cases where the lock requires servicing by a technician, we will coordinate an arrival time based on the level of urgency. It should be emphasized that even if the lock is faulty, you can always enter the house using the key.

What type of batteries does the lock need and what is the battery life?

The lock runs on 4 AA batteries. Batteries last from one to one and a half years.

How do you know when to replace the batteries in your lock?

When the battery voltage starts to weaken, every time we open or lock the door, the lock will beep and the LED will flash red and green, thus warning the lock to replace the batteries. From the moment the lock starts beeping, we still have 100 operations left before the batteries are completely drained.

If the batteries are completely dead, can I return home?

The lock has an emergency mechanism in case we did not pay attention to the alerts and did not replace the batteries on time. A portable charger can be connected to the bottom of the lock via a micro USB connector.

What is the warranty period and what does it include?

The warranty period for the lock is one year from the date of installation. At the end of the year, our representative will contact you to extend the warranty at a cost of 300 shekels per year. The warranty does not include battery replacement, lock RESET if you forget the master code, or vandalism.

How long will it take to install my lock from the time I order it?

The lock on your door will be installed by a certified installer of the company within 3–6 business days.
